"The Wait" tells the story of Jamie and Nina, two homeless orphans waiting in a junior high school biology classroom for the teacher to show up. A tray containing a dead frog is on one of the desks, along with a scalpel. Both kids are nervous, because they've been accepted into a special government program that will place them with adoptive parents -- but only if they pass a test. Is it a frog disecting test, or another kind of test?
